On April 8, 2019, Ms. K.L and her family successfully obtained a 188A visa and relocated to Western Australia with the assistance of another migration service provider.
When approaching Bluewise, Ms. K.L was operating a café and sought a strong partner to support her business operations, something she couldn’t find with her previous migration service provider. After discussions with Mr. Le Thanh Tung – CEO of Bluewise Group, Mr. Tung advised Ms. K.L on a business operation plan to meet the requirements of Visa 888A.
Every six months, Mr. Le Thanh Tung would review the business financial reports to ensure that the business was still operating well and generating revenue in line with the requirements of Visa 888A. Despite facing significant challenges from the Covid-19 pandemic during the business period from 2020 to 2022, through the continuous efforts of Ms. K.L and her family, combined with the dedicated support from the Bluewise team, the family excellently met the requirements for submitting the application for the 888A Australian Permanent Residency.
On January 20, 2022, after assisting Ms. K.L in preparing all necessary documents, Bluewise submitted her application to the government of Western Australia. Just two weeks after submitting the application, on February 17, 2022, Ms. K.L and her family received sponsorship from the state.
On March 7, 2022, Ms. K.L’s application was successfully confirmed by the Australian Department of Home Affairs, and only 20 months later, on December 20, 2023, Bluewise joyfully received the notification that Ms. K.L and her family were officially granted Visa 888A. The success of Ms. K.L’s family is a great source of pride for Bluewise Group on a meaningful conquering journey.

Visa 888A is a Permanent Residency visa for entrepreneurs who already have a 188A visa to continue their investment and business activities in Australia. Spouses and children under 23 years old (at the time of Visa issuance) of the primary visa holder also become permanent residents, along with the opportunity to have dual citizenship in Australia and Vietnam. The conditions to obtain Visa 888A include:
– The primary visa holder must have lived in Australia for a minimum of 1 year in the last 3 years before applying for the 888A Permanent Residency visa, and the Temporary Residency visa 188A must still be valid.
– The primary visa holder must own one or two businesses operating in Australia for at least 2 years before submitting the application.
– Achieve a minimum annual turnover of AUD 300,000 (~5 billion VND) in the 12 months immediately preceding the application.
– The primary visa holder and family must not engage in illegal business activities and must comply with Australian laws.
– In the 12 months before the application, the primary visa holder must meet 2 of the following 3 conditions:
- Business net assets in Australia reaching a minimum of AUD 200,000 (~3.5 billion VND).
- Total net assets of the individual and business in Australia reaching a minimum of AUD 600,000 (~10 billion VND).
- Employ at least 2 full-time employees who are Australian or New Zealand citizens.
