On the afternoon of September 18th, at Sheraton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Golf Viet and Bluewise Group took place, marking a milestone for the cooperation in media development of the golf industry in Vietnam. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Thanh Tung – CEO of Bluewise, Mr. Luong Hoang Hung – Chairman of Golf Vietnam, as well as entrepreneurs and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Tung stated that, with his extensive experience living in Australia, he has been able to connect hundreds of Vietnamese businesses to create international standard golf courses.
Golf Viet is a media agency that provides comprehensive and detailed information about the golf industry in Vietnam and abroad to its readers. In particular, Golf Viet is one of the units that regularly organizes many high-quality and professional golf tournaments such as the Vietnam Golf Magazine Championship, the Swing for Vietnam charity golf tournament, and the BRG-VGM Junior Golf Championship.
Therefore, Bluewise Group chose Golf Viet as the media agency to bring this sport closer to Vietnamese businesses. Above all, on the basis of sportsmanship, both sides want to provide golf lovers with experiences of playing and participating in international tournaments.
Representing Golf Viet, Mr. Luong Hoang Hung stated that the golf industry in Vietnam has developed over the years, but compared to developed countries, golf in Vietnam still has many limitations and restrictions on courses.
In Vietnam, there are currently less than 100 golf courses, while Australia, a country with less than 30 million people, has up to 1,000 golf courses. The level of popularization of golf in Australia, Europe, and the United States is very high.
Golf Viet also stated that when signing the media cooperation agreement with Bluewise, Golf Viet will strengthen its media activities and the ecosystem it has built, such as training, exchange, and trade on Golf Vietnam’s media tools. At the same time, Golf Viet will organize tournaments abroad to bring golfers to start their careers in Australia and other countries.
