In early September 2024, Bluewise Group had the honor of accompanying the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (HAWEE) on a tour to Australia. This tour was a market survey aimed at fostering trade connections and cooperation between Vietnamese businesses and their Australian counterparts, with support from the State government.
Bluewise played a pivotal role in organizing the trip, from planning and scheduling events in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, to handling logistics and liaising with organizations and local authorities.
On September 2nd, Bluewise registered HAWEE’s delegation to participate in the largest annual Fine Food exhibition held at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre. Following this, on September 3rd, the delegation attended a seminar at Grant Thornton Australia’s office in Collins Square. This event focused on exploring Australia’s advantages in business expansion and investment, alongside an analysis of the current economic landscape, particularly the demand for Vietnamese consumer and the projected business costs. Esteemed experts shared valuable knowledge. In particular, the delegation also engaged in a discussion on “Strengthening Support for Female Entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City and Melbourne,” where businesswomen from both nations shared their entrepreneurial journeys, challenges, and opportunities in building and growing their enterprises. These stories ignited profound inspiration and opened up new avenues for collaboration for Vietnamese female entrepreneurs.
On September 4th and 5th, the delegation moved to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, where the women entrepreneurs had the opportunity to meet and listen to the sharing from the local government representatives of Gold Coast and Queensland State that Bluewise had previously connected with. This exchange played a critical role in discussing export-import opportunities into Queensland, settlement and visa programs for entrepreneurs. The official and useful information provided helped the businesses choose appropriate directions and execute strategic plans.
On September 6th, the delegation arrived in Sydney and attended another event at Grant Thornton, where Bluewise delivered a significant presentation on bilateral investment opportunities and trade promotion between Vietnam and Australia. Mr. Le Thanh Tung, CEO of Bluewise, presented a comprehensive analysis of the trade potential between the two countries, the Australian economic market landscape, and key factors to consider in the export-import process. This session garnered substantial interest from the Vietnamese female entrepreneurs, especially regarding opportunities to export Vietnamese agricultural products to Australia. With extensive practical experience and deep knowledge of the Australian market, Bluewise is confident that, as a bilateral bridge, it will help Vietnamese businesses expand their market presence in Australia, as well as assist Australian enterprises seeking to become import agents for distinctive Australian products into Vietnam.
The tour brought numerous practicle values, enabling Vietnamese female entrepreneurs not only to learn from practical experiences in Australia but also to open up various avenues for bilateral collaboration in import-export and product distribution. Bluewise appreciates the opportunity to accompany Vietnamese entrepreneurs on further journey toward growth and the achievement of critical business objectives.
The market survey tour organized by Bluewise aims to provide a comprehensive overview and a realistic picture of Australia’s business environment, lifestyle, demand, and more, thereby helping our customers make well-informed and confident investment decisions.
